OUT: album 'Das Neue Elektronische Volkslied' by Tobias.

The creative process, initiated in 2022, took a unique twist as it drew inspiration from live performances - raw, improvised moments fueled by the electric energy of the club atmosphere. Tobias., the mastermind behind this musical odyssey, meticulously reproduced and evolved these spontaneous creations in his studio, crafting a seamless fusion of diverse elements. Seeking guidance on the ideal label for this innovative project, the artist turned to the talented Adiel. What transpired was beyond expectation.

OUT: album 'Blind Spot On The Bright Side Of Life' by Brokof

'Blind Spot On The Bright Side of Life' by the Berlin band Brokof gifts the world with twelve new magnificent songs. Naturally, this is a singer-songwriter album, but Brokof now wander off into the open field between folk, fuzz, and funk. Trombones, lap steel guitars, and modular synthesizers can also be found alongside the conventional four-piece lineup. More than ever in the band's history, this is also clearly pop music, although the associated discourse is often left aside.

OUT: album 'Ethos' by Frank & Tony

More about the world has changed than not in the decade since dance production dyad Frank & Tony released their last full-length record, 2014’s 'You Go Girl'. Despite, or perhaps in spite of, this shifting landscape, house music has managed to stay fundamentally reliable (either a bug or its greatest feature, depending on who you ask). Where previously, Frank & Tony have been celebrated for their contemplative, studious approach to the genre, with 2024’s 'Ethos', the Brooklyn/Biarritz-based duo return amidst metastatic cultural upheaval to prove out those scholarly credentials — with an album that serves to remind listeners why dancefloors and liberatory politics consistently share the language of movements and revolutions.

OUT: album 'Early Singles 1981-1982' by Xmal Deutschland

The “Schwarze Welt” seven-inch was released on the local punk label, ZickZack, in 1981 and introduced the band as an unsettling swarm of intensity. There’s an urgency in its repetitive dirge, a swirling mania that persists on the b-side with “Die Wolken” and “Großstadtindianer” whose crude synthesizer noises escalate intention. Most of all, Huwe’s uniquely venomous German vocals quickly became embedded in the unbridled and burgeoning scene of glamorous gloom.

OUT: album 'Codes' by Anja Huwe

After Xmal Deutschland’s success with four albums on cult labels such as 4AD, Huwe abandoned music to pursue her visual art career. But leaving her legacy in the past was not so easy.

Invited by her long-time friend Mona MurHuwe reconsidered her decades-long hiatus from music and decided to join Mur in her studio in Berlin. Together, they worked for a year and a half, composing, performing and producing the tracks from scratch, which would eventually become the album ‘Codes’. Integral to the overall sound experience was the input of Manuela Rickers who added her famed signature guitar style.
